It was slowly turning dark, all of us were waiting for the darkness so we could go tp people's houses & smash the pumpkins.

Salley told us all of this one haunted house. So when the darkness came we went there first. Scott dared Emily to go knock on the door of this house! Not to be out shined she did!

The door opened on it's on so it seemed. She went into the house and the rest of us followed.

The inside of the house was full of cobwebs and dust. I was scared and so was everyone else.

Josh had come too, he was a loner and dindn't talk much. But he was excepted in our crazy group. We all explored the first floor. Nothing strange or scary stuff!

The second floor was amazing. The rooms were decorated with the taste of wealth. The finest you could imangine. The bathrooms had solid gold fawcets.

It was around eleven pm when we reached the third floor. These rooms had all of their own themes. Scott opened a music box in the pink room. As soon as the music started a wind picked up in the room. Things started flying around in the room. A picture of a young girl flew from the wall and barely missed hitting Emily.

Then the lights went out. Two of our group had lighters. That would be are only light sorce. A figure appeared to us. At first it was an orb, then changed to a lighted figure, then human form.

Josh pulled out a gun, ready to shoot this thing. Yet it roared "PUT THAT GUN AWAY". We all looked at Josh and he lowered the gun. The human shapped spirit spoke to us. It told of the horrow & death's that accured here. There was very much sorrow.

The spirit then said to set us all free from this house you must bring light and laughter here. True love will only save this house and set us free. Please do that.

Suddenly Jessica started laughing. It was very contagious and we all started laughing. We don't even know why we just laughed till we cried.

The lights came on and we all could see again. Yet a wind picked up and blew through the room. Thank you for setting us free. We have been here years! We were put under a spell and could not gain freedome except from the light.

Just then about one hundred spirits appeared in the room and thanked us for setting them free. Soon the room grew still. We all looked at each other and ran down the stairs and out the front door.

That was 20 years ago. Yet it seemed liked yesterday. I am ready for the doorbell to ring.-------Moon Girl
