Zombies have come to our area. |
Just recently inside our area the dead have begun to come back to life. At first I just thought nothing of it, but it has got really bad. My best friend has been bitten and I'm not sure if he wants me to attack his brain. I mean, what if he's inside there, wanting to die? But you really can't walk for zombies these days, and even if some are being used by the supermarkets for pushing trolleys about, they are unnerving. The great thing is none of them are quick, and avoiding zombies here is relatively easy, unless you happen to find one lurking around inside the bins. Then you're in trouble. But none of my family have yet been bitten, thankfully. We know not to go outside after dark. I mean, even now I can see three or four of them outside my flat window. We're allowed to kill them, and there will hopefully be a group of teenagers who have a laugh by killing them for fun. They have their purposes. I'm glad I've not been bitten yet, but my concern here is about why dead people have been coming back to life. It just doesn't make any sense. Sure, we're supposed to be having a day of reckoning, and I suppose that this if anything would sort out the war between good and evil, but the zombies aren't evil, they're innocent.
And when you look at these creatures in the eyes you can see an eye, sort of, and it's this yearning to take you apart, but the spirit, if you like, seems not to have a grasp of how to operate the person it occupies. To be honest, it seems like a joke... like God is having a joke, because you feel sorry for the victims, but you don't care about knocking their heads off, or driving a spear through their faces. They're like insects.
The army have taken the bulk out, but they are still a pest.
Do you have zombies in your area? |

But no real zombies, eh? You're lucky. We've got zombies everywhere. I must have killed about twenty of them. |

I do love those zombie movies though. Have you seen Shaun of the Dead? Brilliant. It's British. It's not a parody of Dawn of the Dead, which is also a great movie. It's basically a comedy. However, the zombies in it are very scary... hope you don't mind me admitting that. Dan |

LOL..I knew you were talking about "Shaun of the Dead". I LOVE that movie. My husband saw it at the comic convention in August. He knew I wouldn't want to wait for it to be released in America so he ordered the DVD from England right away. It was great! We also bought the "Spaced" DVDs. We love them too. Hugs, |

Oh there were quite a few here, the nasty buggers. Thankfully we've driven them into the hills.. they've been killing each other off up there.. altho it is not uncommon to run across an un-dead squirrel or raccoon around here now. |

I think I'm going to move to WV, where there are none. I mean, they should all be gone by now... having said that, the only zombies you see nowadays are the poor elderly citezens who must have been too slow... Dan |

Well, I'm almost sorry to say they've just about all disappeared here. People really pitied the dregs who got bit. The zombies were so slow you'd have had to be trying to have a conversation with one for them to bite you. I know someone who kept his zombie. dan! |
