BIGFOOT ON THE LOOOSE?, ROACHDALE, INDIANA |
| In August, 1972, several farmers here tracked a large creature covered with black hair that smelled like garbage. The first encounter was connected with a UFO sighting near a mobile home owned by the Rogers family. They saw a "luminous object" hovering over an adjacent cornfield and later observed the creature walking through their cornstalks. Other farmers in the area also witnessed the beast, which broke into a hen house and mutilated dozens of chickens. The Bigfoot was seen standing in the doorway of a farm building and completely covered the eight-foot-wide opening.
