A possible psychic needs some perspective(part 1) |
If you may or may not have guessed, this is my first post. I stumbled upon this site and saw what appeared to be people who can help and are geared towards what is happening to me. I decided to start from the beginning, so here goes.....
I've never been what anyone would consider "one a them psychic folks"(I'm from WV, so the dialect fits the people in my area), but I have had deja vu type things throughout my life, as well as sick and uneasy feelings in places some consider "haunted"(my friends and I used to go to places like that for fun). About one year ago, I had a dream that I was sitting in the back of a car I didn't recognize, and a couple were sitting in the front arguing. Eventually, the male got angry, began to back up, and went over a hill, causing a nasty wreck. I awoke in a panic, as this was the most vivid dream I had had in awhile. The odd thing was that I could still feel the material of the car seat, had a very distinct exhaust smell in my nose, and a red welt around my waist where a seatbelt would have been. I was shaken, obviously, but decided it was a very vivid dream and nothing more. That day, I went to work (I worked at a hospital in the surgery dept.) and ran into THE woman from my dream, whose husband was in the Intensive Care Unit at the same hospital. Reluctantly, I struck up a conversation with the woman and found out that indeed, her and her husband had been in a wreck that morning, just as I saw in my dream. I began asking her things that unless I was there, I would have never known; to which she responded with a very puzzled and cautious look after everything I said. I learned her name, and continued to check up on her husband for the next 2 to 3 days, and he died on day 4. I actually did go to the funeral, and things gradually became worse for me after that point. The reason for the previous story was to show the starting point as well as why I started doing what I did. The dreams started sporadically, only about once to twice every couple of weeks, but always had the same ending; someone died. Hoping that I was wrong (I wished to anything and everything that I was wrong) I started reading obituaries over the internet to see if anything that I dreamt came true. Sure enough, every 3 to 4 days after a dream, I would find an obituary confirming it, and it somehow began to revolve around the number 19(more on that number in part 2). At one point, I watched someone put a gun in their mouth, and I awoke with a bloody nose, thinking full well that I was dead. Still, to this day, I sleep very little, but I have more control over it depending on when I sleep. I've tried talking to friends and family, but honestly how do you tell someone that you're predicting the death of someone you've never met? I now have a stack of obituaries, random trips all over my state and other states to try and stop this from happening, and about a million more questions that I can't answer. I'm not crazy, but I suppose I'm having one of those "why me?" times. Thoughts would be appreciated, and thank you if you've made it this far. I'll post the next bits soon. First of all welcome to this site, you defiantly do have a gift of some sort..I wish I could advise you on what you could do,:( but the only suggestion I have for you, is if you are religious then pray to God before you fall asleep that, you don't want to have to dreams about deaths, and if you aren't religious then pray to your higher self ect..It also depends if you want to continue having this gift...I know you think what Gift is that...you are waking up with blood noses ect, I wish I could answer that, but i must admit..it has me really interested in what you are experiencing..It's very hard for family and friends to understand what you are going through and I hope that someone here will be able to help you..as I have not given much help at all,I look forward to reading part 2 but please I am worried about you, not getting proper sleep...so please if you continue to have irregular sleep patterns because of the above, please see your doctor..take care my friend and message me if you need someone to talk to ..and remember everyone here is fantastic...you will make friends for life..we don't judge anyone...just tell us what you feel ect..we are all there for you ....Have fun here at Usm...hugs |

I agree with Koala: Pray to God and ask him to give you a restful sleep. Ask God to lessen the dreams. The spirits will most likely come to you at night, so I recommend you put on a night light so this will lessen the visitations from the other world. One time I had the scariest experience of them all: I was having a nightmare of a pair of red eyes look right at my face, so then as I proceeded to wake up.. the eyes were still there.. Ekkk!!! very scary! I woke up with scratches on my arms. Ever since then I have a had a light on at night. Good luck with your psychic gift and again welcome to USM! :) ((hugs)) |

I was wanting to think of something comforting to say, but I don’t know enough about the subject to do so. I do find it very interesting, and am pleased that you shared this story with us. welcome to USM... I don't have any advise on your situation as I have never experienced it. There are alot of people on here & you may be able to find others who have been through this or know someone who has... Please keep us updated, this sounds very interesting. |

Some reason this reminded me of the show Ghost Whisperer...I think its that one. Anyway...maybe you have this gift cause theres a way you can prevent the deaths. I don't know. Sorry cant' be of more help. Oh and I forgot to say before..Welcome. |
