The Haunting(s) Continue..... |
I have written before about the Spirits in our house. Well, I guess they have decided (in honor of the season perhaps) to take it to the next level.
I have been in the house alone, (sans the dog) and the past few nights, about 1:00 a.m. there has been the sound on someone walking on my roof! Heavy boot steps walking back-and-forth.
Now, I am quite familiar with the sound of seabirds, and animals getting on my roof. This is the sound of someone as large as a Man walking around, pacing!
The dog & I both look-up, the dog does not bark, and it continues for maybe 5-7 minutes.
It is RIGHT over the roof in the bedroom we are lying down in.
No, it does not frighten me, but it is odd.
One more "odd" occurrence. I had a small ouija board key-chain, on my keys. (The tiny ones that are the novelty games?). My keys are on my dining room table.
Now, remember, I have a small mini-doxie. Even on his hind legs, he could not even see the top of the table.
So, about 30 minutes ago, I was in the bedroom reading (the same bedroom where I am hearing boot-steps on the roof), and Oskar comes running in the room & jumps in the bed with something in his mouth.
I asked him to "drop it" and it was the tiny ouija board! Completely separated from the key-chain attachment!
Now, first of all, the dog has NO interest in my keys. (Well, except when I pick them up and he thinks we are going somewhere). Second point, of ALL the things I have dangling from my key-chain, why would he get that?
Most important, he could not get to those keys if he wanted to!
So, my playful Poltergists continue.
(If only they would do dishes, or clean house...)

Cathy...No doubt the spirits are begining to churn. I too have noticed a degree of more notatable occurences here. You doxie could be finding its invisible friend more playful now. My cats usually come into my bedroom...but lately they have been shying from here. Even if I pick one up and carry them in...they lay down but quickly run off the bed. |

I love these kinds of ghost stories. They give me goosebumps, lol. I don't know if I'd have an ouija board key chain though. That sounds a little dangerous, lol. Great story. |

Cathy I think because its the Month that spirits are more prone to show their presence, for one because of course being that all hallows eve is coming up but because so many that are unaware of what spirits really can do 'harm wise' think that maybe someone is playing a joke on them so they just poo poo it. I feel people like you and I, of course from differnt spectrums, will be helping lots of people dealing with spirits or the after math of this event in time. |

This is one awesome story--the ouiji thingie seems to be some kind of "message". My, almost "deaf" mother hears someone walking on her roof sometimes too, (and it's not Santa Claus),--she does live in a haunted house. |

no doubt a demon! listen there are things in this world that we cant explain..ive come to realize that the demons in this world would do anything to turn your eyes to darkness. no doubt did you stop and think "maybe if i just would use a bord i could find out why they are hear."? Dont.. thats what they want. its hard to explain but you should never encourage these things.. |
