More Fun & Games With The Poltergists..... |
O.K.-I admit the title is a bit....playful. But the "Guys" are REALLY outdoing themselves.
Yesterday, after my Dad & Bro-In-Law left (they had dropped off the new sink & supplies for my bathroom remodeling job), Rick called, and as I was talking to him there was a HUGE bang!!! I mean, Rick heard it over the phone! Being his usual unflappable self he suggested I "check it out".
It sounded like someone dropped a bowling ball in the bathtub! So, I go in the bathroom, and of course, nothing. *sigh*
So I come back to the phone and make a rude remark about the "darn" poltergist. (Yeah, I said "darn", sure...:P).
Anyway, aside from the little puddle of water that kept appearing in different parts of the house (no, the dog was not being naughty), it was pretty quiet. I was just annoyed at having to grab a towel, and I would no sooner hang it up when another little water puddle would appear.
So, things got quiet, and last night I was kind of pumped because Rev. Bob Larson was going to be interviewed on Coast-To-Coast A.M. I LIKE Bob Larson. I used to have some of his books, and he is an Exorcist and an "expert" on Demonology. (He always brings recordings of his public exorcisms.)
And it was a perfect night, the Dog & I home alone. So I got all snuggled in to listen to the radio show.
And maybe about 15 minutes after the show started, Oskar pops up his head and stares into the other room. And I "feel" a presence. O.K., par for the course, I am not worried.
So into the bedroom through the open door, step-step-step. Three (small) steps from Mr. Invisibility. The Dog let out a small *woof*. I ignored it.
(Seriously, how tacky during that radio show, right?).
And remember, I have lived with this for a long time, I am not scared by this kind of stuff. So, a few minutes later, the papers on my desk start to be rattled, and moved about. I was watching this, mind you.
I decided to turn OFF the radio (and go to bed) since I obviously would NOT be allowed to concentrate on the radio show.
WELL-tonight there is a repeat of the radio show I missed, I am listening to it right now, and things are quiet.
So, anyone else at USM having increased activity with their "Houseguests"?
Please share. Seriously, someone else has to be experiencing this too.

o.o I don't have any extra guests here lol. I think it would be neat to experience something like that once or twice, but living with them might freak me out. Then again, as in your case, I guess you could just get used to it. :) |

I'm not experiencing anything like this; or anything at all. I enjoy reading your stories though. I chuckle at your little side commentaries :) Very interesting. Keep us posted. |

rarely do I have something like that happen. I had once taken a tape recorder to the church cementary where my grandmother is laid to rest. I just talked about the weeks events like I used to for five minutes. Then rewinded the tape and played it back. My nerves jumped in to overdrive when a Male booming voice admonished me, " Not too Loud." and the tape went static and back to my drival about work. My advice is to talk softly when visiting the deceased the guy in the grave next door does not want to hear it. |
