Wow, that's scary! They say babies and animals can see what we can't. So, it's very possible there was something there that you couldn't see. Just keep commanding it to go away in the Lord, and you should be alright. |

Wow, this sounds way scarier than most Halloween spooky stories. I'm just glad that your alright. If it were me ... *shivers*, I think I would say my nightly prayers out loud for a while .. very loud !!! |

I have no idea, but that's creepy.. my dog, Bailey, barks at things that aren't there sometimes and it's always when I'm home alone. It always scares me. |

Well, don't they say that (well i usually only hear it for cats, but i dont know..) animals can see into other worlds? She might have been seeing a ghost, which is very, very creep! |

I have had it happen before! And the words you belted out to get rid of it is EXACTLY what I did, and it worked. Sometimes things just flow through and don't stay for any lengthy time hon. Your dog will be good for this help, and it doesn't happen alot! THANK THE LORD!! Don't worry, if it does happen again and I use the IF strongly, do the same thing! Your safe hon! My dog flips out like that sometimes as well. It doesn't bother me so much anymore..but when she's growling and staring off its very hard to break her attention. |

Pray over the home,command it leave in the name of Jesus. When my wife and I moved in to our house..there was some really creepy stuff going on,but as soon as we prayed in Jesus name..all of it stopped and it's been peaceful ever since! |

hey everyone..nothing went down last night (thank goodness!) i told my boyfriend everything so we are keeping our eyes and ears open..you know whats odd though...Mia is stayin outside now..she wont come in as often as she use to. even at night..and its cool out (she has no dog house) so i would think she would wanna stay in..eh..only time can tell. You did the right thing but I would go around every corner of the house and say a little prayer and burn some sage in each corner as well as a little dab of lemon juice on each corner of the door. I am not sure why this works but my friend is wiccan and I was having problems and she told me to do this and things cleared up pretty well. I dont think you will have any trouble cuz you did the right thing!! God Bless and I dont think it would hurt to envision yourself and your animals in a white light! Good Luck - Bunny |

Sunshine, NOW THAT was a scary story! Gave me the chills! Perhaps the spirit of one of the previous owners or someone who had fond memories of living there came back for a visit? I'm sure you were shocked! I would be if I had a close encounter like that. You know...I'm convinced spirits visit my living room because every morning I smell this musty heavy smell. It's just something that I sense when I walk in there. You did the right thing by calling upon the Holy Name of our Lord Jesus. The mere mention of His Name will make evil flee. Try sprinkling some holy water around your room too. That will help keep them away if it is a bad spirit. If it is a good spirit the water will help cleanse them of their iniquity and assist them to moving on to where they should be. Holy water is not magic water. The consecration prayers said over the water by Holy Priests by calling upon God's assistance and blessings on the water is what makes the water Holy. It is almighty God through His mercy who cleanses us through the physical property of water. |

Dear Jesus, surround me with your Angels is what I would say. Nothing will hurt you. If it was a spirit, (and there are spirits always around us) it may have been only that one time. I have a spirit in my house and did see it around 3am a couple of years ago, of course got scared for the moment, but told the spirit outloud, "either go to where you should be, but never show yourself again." I guess it worked because it never did appear again. It is said you have to command them to leave you alone. I somehow feel though this is a protective spirt and maybe you could just think of it in the same way. It probably did scare your dog, but reassure her and get her to sleep with you so she will feel comfortable too. Lorkrister |

Just remember to always say, IN the name of JESUS I command you to leave as the name of Jesus is above any other spirit in the world. Jesus will protect you and I would also put the angels of the Lord around your bedroom each night, all you have to do is say, In the name of Jesus I ask that the angels of the lord make a hedge of protection around me and my house. amen I pray that things will be fine for you now hon. |

Too weird! A couple of days ago, a friend and I were in my barn playing with my horse and she felt a spirit hold her hand. At the same time, my horse freaked out and jumped 3' in the air and spun. She's never done this before, so I think she could see the spirit. Cool. Personally, I'm not afraid of ghosts. I've ssen them many times and never had a problem. Good luck! Kathy |

Thanks for the update. We had something in our Ohio house that scared our dog and she stayed in the basement for 3 days before she would come back upstairs--at least that's what our son said, (the 3 days part). |
